Coupon Policies: Meijer, Kroger, Target, Dollar General and Family Dollar

   

Meijer Coupon Policy Coupons are a great way to save extra money when shopping with us, and we have made it easy to use them at our stores.

When accepting coupons, Meijer uses the following guidelines:

  1. We accept two kinds of coupons; Meijer issued coupons and manufacturer coupons.
    • Only one manufacturer coupon and one Meijer coupon for the same item will be accepted (unless prohibited).
    • Mealbox coupons are considered Meijer coupons and can be printed HERE.
  2. We accept all valid internet coupons. See store for details.
  3. We reserve the right to limit quantities.
  4. If the value of the coupon is more than the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied, the value of the coupon will be applied up to the price of the item.
  5. We do not apply the excess value of a coupon to the order total if the value of the coupon is over the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied.
  6. Only coupons for products carried in our stores will be accepted.
  7. All coupons should be given to the cashier while you’re checking out and cannot be applied to a previous purchase.

Limits:

There are currently no limits on the amount of products or coupons you can use, but stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transactions. You can always talk with the manager to see if they’ll order more for you so you don’t clear the shelves.  Remember only two identical coupons double per transaction.

 

  

Double Coupons:  Coupon doubling policies also vary by region.  Always check with your store for their exact policy. Some double and some do not.   

Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati stores is a follows:   

  • Coupons for $0.50 or less will be double.
  • Coupons between $0.50 and $0.99 will be doubled up to $1.00
  • Coupons above $1.00 are redeemed at face value. 


Competitor Coupons:
Kroger does not accept competors coupon or catalina coupons. 

 
Kroger Loyalty Card:
 

In order to get the advertised price at Kroger you must use their Loyalty Card. To get a loyalty card you can go to the customer service within the store or sign up for one here.  When you sign up you’ll start receiving home mailer coupons for Brand and Kroger products.

Fuel Saver Rewards:
  

For every 100 points ($100 dollars in purchases, before coupons) you save $0.10/gallon fuel.  

Earn double points on select gift card purchases and pharmacy prescriptions  

Use your 1-2-3 Mastercard to save an additional $0.05 per gallon fuel.

Limits:

eCoupons:  

There are several eCoupon (clipless coupons) sites that you can link your Kroger loyatly card to. Once you register  your card with the sites you upload the coupons to your card. When you purchase the item(s) the coupons come off automatically at the register.   

Reusable Bag Credit:  

Kroger offers a $0.03 per reusable bag used for each time you shop. Make sure to tell the cashier how many bags you are using so they can apply to credit.  

  

Target Stores Coupon Policy

Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping with us, and it’s easy to use them at our stores. 

•    Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item (unless prohibited)
•    Super Target coupons can be used in any Target store if the store carries the item
•    We gladly accept valid internet coupons 

Because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target.

When accepting coupons, we use the following guidelines:
 

•    We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and manufacturer-issued.
•    Unless either coupon prohibits it, we’ll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item
•    Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.
•    We can’t give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.
•    We can’t accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
•    All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you’re checking out.

  

Coupon Policy

Dollar General is pleased to accept Manufacturer’s Coupons and Dollar General Store Coupons at any of our more than 8,700 stores.  These coupons come from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, print-at-home (internet), direct mail, product packaging, and in-store coupon boxes.  

Our coupon requirements are as follows:  

Dollar General will accept coupons, including Internet Coupons, provided they meet these requirements:  

  1. Coupons must be original (no photocopies)
  2. Coupons must have a scan-able barcode
  3. Coupons must have an expiration date
  4. Coupons may be used only on products sold at Dollar General, and must match exactly to the item as it is packaged and sold at Dollar General.
  5. Coupons must clearly say “Manufacturers Coupon” or “Dollar General Store Coupon”

Dollar General will NOT accept the following:  

  1. Manufacturer’s coupons that do not scan, or Dollar General Store Coupons with an invalid promotional code
  2. Expired Coupons
  3. Coupons for products not sold at Dollar General
  4. FREE Item coupon if printed from the Internet, unless a purchase is required (example: a “buy one, get one free” is acceptable).
  5. Coupons from other retailers or coupons that may be used only at other retailers

In addition, unless the coupons state otherwise, you may use multiple coupons in one transaction. You may also use a Dollar General coupon along with a Manufacturer’s coupon for the same item, as long as neither coupon states otherwise.  

  

Family Dollar Stores, Inc. Coupon Policy
Family Dollar accepts Manufacturer’s and Family Dollar issued coupons
(including internet coupons) that meet these requirements:

  1. Coupons must be original (no photocopies)
  2. Coupons must have a scan-able barcode or valid promotion code
  3. Coupons must have a printed expiration date
  4. Coupons can be redeemed only for items sold at Family Dollar, and can be redeemed only for the exact same item (package weight, size, etc.)
  5. Coupons for free items are only accepted if a purchase is required to get one free
  6. Maximum of two coupons per item. One coupon must be a Manufacturer’s coupon and the second coupon must be a Family Dollar Coupon as long as neither coupon states that it is not valid with other coupons

Family Dollar will NOT accept coupons that:

  1. Are from other retailers
  2. Are expired
  3. Are internet coupons without a scan-able barcode and/or promotion code
  4. Contain the combination of an invalid barcode that won’t scan and promotion code that the register will not accept
  5. Are for “free” items, unless a purchase is required (i.e. Buy one get one free is acceptable)
  6. Do not have a “remit to:” address on the coupon

In addition: “Cash Back” will not be issued if the value of the coupon is greater than the purchase price of the item.
