Coupon Organization

Okay now you’ve learned alittle about coupons and where to find them. Now how should you organize them?
There are many ways to organize them.

One method is clipping the coupons you think you’ll need an place them in a binder. A binder can be set up in many ways, by category, alphatically, or anyway that works for you.

Another way to organize them into a box/file.

I organize by a combination of methods. I usually buy 2-10 papers a week. Check out these youtube videos here and here to see various ways to organize.
First I organize my coupons by page, like the lady did in the first clip but I staple on the coupon itself because I want to keep my coupons together. Just don’t staple on the expiration date or amount. I staple on the picture.

Next I print out a list from Sunday Coupon Preview with what’s in that particular insert and keep that in the front of my binder.  Then I have dollar billed sized 3 per sheet for my internet printables or those that I’ve cut out and didn’t use. I organize my pages into categories. Baby supplies, frozen veggies, baking, sweet snacks, etc.

I never get rid of a coupon unless it is expired or I trade with someone.  The reason is I may not use it this week but the product for the coupon may be on sale on a different week.  This is where you want to stockpile. See my post on stockpiling.
